A library is store-house of knowledge. In the present day system of education, it is essential that a habit of self-study and self-education be cultivated among the students.
The school has a well-stocked library which is instrumental in broadening the mental horizon of students by providing an opportunity to them to explore the vast ocean of knowledge.
Besides well-selected books catering to all age groups the school has subscription of many periodicals, journals and magazines.
To make maximum use of school library, a student must follow the below stated library rules-
1. One library card will be issued to each child from class 6th to 12th on the payment of Rs.50 at the time of promotion to the next class.
2. Books must be returned on the due date positively.
3. The students should not spoil or disfigure the books.
4. Fine will be charged in case of damaged, lost and overdue books.
5. Silence must be maintained in the library.
6. Students should maintain a record of library books studied by them in the appropriate Performa given in the student diary.
7. Cost of the book will be taken as caution money if a child keeps the book during examinations.
